Rhode Island is probably the most photographically neglected state in the country, at least from what I can find on the Internet. Perhaps it has something to do with its size but certainly not with the quality of its photo opportunities.
As a photojournalist for 32 years, 27 of them at the Providence Journal, and now as a fine art photographer, I have made an effort to avoid what I call drive-by shootings. I have captured various locations many times at different times of the day and at different seasons of the year trying to capture the magic of Rhode Island.
