Cui Ji was born on January 16th, 1966 in Wangchin, Jirin Providence in China. He was interested in painting ever since he was a kid, and he pursued his career as an artist by attending and graduating from Yenben University. Many of his paintings were exhibited at the Jirin and Yenben Exhibitions. He was awarded first place at both. His expertise is in painting abstracts, animals, florals, landscapes, and coastal views that include architectures. Most of his paintings are impressionistic, and his brushstrokes and colors provide viewers a sense of lively movement and intense color vibration. Many viewers are often impressed with Cui Ji’s dynamic compositions and mixture of colors and lines.
His paintings are very popular in China as well as in the United States. He currently resides in Beijing with his wife and his son. He enjoys sports, especially boxing.
