John Young was born in Jilin Providence, Wangqing City, China in 1970. His real name is Quan Yong Xu. John Young demonstrated a passion and natural talent in the fine arts as he grew up with his father, Quan Dong Ji, who was a professor in art. His father’s enthusiasm and artistic talent left impressions on John Young. He then started to concentrate on his artwork, especially impressionism style.

In 1995, John Young graduated with an art major from Yanbien University in Gilim Providence, China. He likes to paint landscapes with misty styles. Sometimes, he also paints contemporary still-life.

John Young has exhibited his work at Art Exhibition in Shanghai and in Beijing, China in both 2005 and 2006.
